Summer Bucket List- Day at Chuck E. Cheese

This is a sponsored conversation written by me on behalf of Chuck E. Cheese’s . The opinions and text are all mine.

School is out and it’s officially summer here in New Jersey, but you’d never know it by the crazy weather we’ve been having. It’s been raining for a week straight with almost no end in sight until July. That leaves parents scrambling for fun things to do with their kids and we found the perfect day trip to share with you!

Yesterday we headed to Chuck E. Cheese to take advantage of their indoor games and food. We purchased the All You Can Play Pass for 30 minutes and it was perfect for our two young boys to get enough energy and excitement out. I was pleasantly surprised at how clean and modern the location was, I’ll admit we had never been to a Chuck E. Cheese before yesterday, but now I can’t wait to take them back!

We started with the 30 minutes play pass and then had lunch which ended up being a great deal because during the month of June Chuck E. Cheese is offering BOGO free on large pizzas, which by the way really was delicious. The staff was super friendly and accommodating, I had researched online before we went about food allergies since we avoid peanuts and tree nuts. I was happy to read that they do not use any peanuts or tree nuts in any of their products! It’s nice to be able to go places and not have to worry about nuts.

After lunch we were just in time to see Chuck E. Cheese come out and do a little performance for the kids. It was cute to see all of the kids in the building run over to him excitedly. Next, we were ready to cash in our tickets and pick out prizes. Always a favorite for my kids, until they realize that no, we didn’t win 5,000 tickets and they were limited to the smaller prizes. They were still very excited to pick out a few things from the prize bin with their winnings.

I was very impressed with the level of safety Chuck E. Cheese offers families. Backing up to when we first arrived at Chuck E. Cheese they stamped all of our arms with invisible numbers. I didn’t ask what they were for and it wasn’t until we were leaving did we realize just how awesome this little trick of theirs is! Each family that comes in together gets stamped with the same number, nobody is allowed to leave the building without having their numbers checked to be sure they all match. What a smart idea! Between the no nuts in the building, the safety protocol for leaving and the multiple signs I noticed about non toxic items in use I was really impressed!

I wish we lived a little bit closer so we could have a birthday party here for the kids, it’s the perfect all in one spot for a party. It’s also America’s number one place for birthdays, so if you’re lucky enough to live close to one be sure to look into it for a party. Click here to visit Chuck E. Cheese and see your nearest location!

So, there you have a rainy (or too hot) day idea for this summer. Don’t forget to head there before June is over and take advantage of the BOGO free pizza deal! Have fun!
