Beach days are the best days, in my opinion at least. I spend most of my summer at the shore and feel I’ve pretty much nailed down exactly what to wear and what to pack for myself. I was recently introduced to the clothing company, Shaka Life, which was founded by Elizabeth Perez and is based on her love for the ocean. If you aren’t familiar with the term Shaka it is basically a friendly sign (i’m sure you’ve seen the pinky and thumb sign) in surf culture and means “hang loose”.

Those are my favorite women’s items but the list of men’s items is just as good. They offer board shorts, tanks and long sleeves to name a few of the items. I really like to keep our wardrobe simple but functional and Shaka Life does just that. Their entire line just gives off that relaxing, beachy vibe that we all want to feel.
